The Qualifications

Cambridge ‘O’ and ‘A’ level examinations are internationally conducted to test the student’s fundamental grasp of academic subjects and the qualification is universally recognised for higher studies. Sessions are so timed that students can take the ‘A’ Level exams by November every year, leaving ample time to prepare for Joint Entrance Examinations.

Gauhati University, The Association of Indian Universities, the Joint Entrance Board and the IIT Boards recognise that (a) ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level qualifications are equivalent to corresponding qualifications obtained under relevant Indian Boards, and (b) students with ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level qualifications are as eligible for admission to Indian universities as students qualified under the Indian Boards.

All universities and colleges in the U.K. and around 150 US institutions offer credit for Cambridge ‘A’ Level while pursuing undergraduate studies leading to time and cost savings.
